Oratory of the Holy Family // rome city, IN
Progress images of a new wooden altar and ambo being fabricated for the Oratory of the Holy Family in Rome City, Indiana. These furnishings are the first part of a multi-phase restoration of the Oratory and grounds. The design of the altar incorporated a Lamb of God that was salvaged from an old altar that had been removed and was inspired by one of the existing stained glass windows in the chapel. The ambo and altar were fabricated by local craftsman Barry Campbell.
